How to test if gold is real
It's important to know what kind of gold you have--whether it's an heirloom or you want to melt it down to create something new. Our student, Christabelle, brought in her testing kit to show us how to test for 10K, 14K, and 18K gold, as well brass and silver. The test turned the scratched brass blue, but gold won't change color. So interesting!
