There’s art and science in making lost wax cast rings. Taylor Girouard of Larkwood Rose Handmade Jewelry came in to teach us how to make wax do our bidding. She went over cut and filing, melting wax to add detail to our designs.

Designing and carving for lost wax takes patience, not only in the carving stage, but then you have to wait to get the finished product back from the casters. Can’t wait to see how all these amazing rings are going to turn out. I will report back!
