Student spotlight: Charlotte

Weekly students learn the basics of metalsmithing and then take on different techniques to bring their visions to reality. It’s always a joy to watch as our students stretch their skills and take on more and more ambitious projects. Hollow forms, like the balls in the first pair of earrings showcased here, are not easy to make. Those are silver, by the way, not pearls. Charlotte challenged herself and ended up with amazing results! The stones on the second pair are glass cabochons. Don’t they look like the juiciest gumdrops?
